Call for Papers: Contemporary Islamic Law and Legal Issues (Issue 1, 2025)

The Editorial Board of Contemporary Islamic Law and Legal Issues is pleased to invite scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit their original research papers for publication in Issue 1, 2025. This peer-reviewed journal provides a platform for academic discourse on contemporary legal issues related to Islamic law, aiming to contribute to the development of legal scholarship in the field.

Themes and Scope We welcome high-quality submissions on topics including, but not limited to:

  • Contemporary interpretations of Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh)

  • Islamic law and modern legal systems

  • Human rights and Islamic legal perspectives

  • Islamic finance and economic law

  • Family law in Islamic traditions

  • Comparative legal studies involving Islamic law

  • Sharia implementation in different jurisdictions

  • Ethical and legal challenges in Islamic law

  • Any legal Issues

Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts should be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

  • Submissions should follow the journal’s formatting and citation style (available on the journal’s website).

  • Articles should be between 6,000 and 10,000 words, including references.

  • All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
